I thought I would upload this in honour of the trailer coming out for 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.' I am so stoked to see it next December! 
This is an editorial page design for (you guessed it) 'The Hobbit.' My tutor gave the class a few book excerpts and we were allowed to choose from those to develop our pieces. A lot of Hobbit illustrations for my tutor to mark, I'll say that.
I sketched and inked all the linework traditionally with various markers and applied colour in Photoshop CS4. I have to say, the overlay tool is my best friend these days
